Free "Boxes, Forts, and Tents" workshop!
Name: ____________________ Email Address: ____________________ Sign Up!
Sign up and receive this one-hour audio workshop with PDF slideshow,
full of great ideas for turning your boxes into castles, canoes, cars,
trains, phone booths, barns, and many other homeschool adventures!
You will also receive my son's latest homeschool yearbook, full of
great unit study ideas.
I will let you know when my new articles are posted and give
announcements of any new classes I've taught on video. I will
occasionally give you other workshop audios for free!
Yikes! What are you doing here? Don't you know that I'm
dangerous? I'm just kidding. How do you do? I'm Susan Evans, a lively
homeschool conference speaker, author, and writing teacher. I love
dressing up in costumes because I'm a ham, as you can clearly see in my
Dread Pirate Susan YouTube videos. But most of all, I love God and my
husband, and I homeschool my own children. (The fact that I love them,
too, goes without saying...)
On this website you will see hundreds of articles, pictures, blog
entries, audios, and videos. Everything that I do points to hands-on
learning. I write a ton about homeschooling in all areas: science,
history, geography, literature, writing, math, Bible, PE, and other
miscellaneous subjects. Creative writing is my main product line, but
I've done so many unit studies over the years; it's crazy. I also have
a whole separate section for Early Childhood, since I did a ton of fun
stuff with my kids when they were little. Oh, and I almost forgot one
of my most fun projects, which is organizing. Just love it. Can't help
it. Made a 2-hour DVD about it, showing you how I organize every room
in my house for homeschooling the FUN way. There is no reason for
homeschooling to be drudgery, where children are dragging their feet in
misery. Just give them a whiff of hands-on learning, and they will be
BEGGING to do school. Begging, I tell you.
But the most important thing I love to talk about is God, and I'm not
afraid of asking the hard questions, because God can handle it and our
walk with God will deepen as a result of it. I have a section called
"Faith Made Real," full of articles about walking in the freedom of
Christ, and I believe that abiding in Christ is the key to living a
life of victory. I've experienced plenty of suffering in my life, which
I've splashed all over my website, so I'm sure you'll find out sooner
or later.
But the bottom line is this: Hands-on learning will help your children
to have more joy as they are learning each subject. Hopefully by
watching my videos and reading my articles, you will think of even more
ways to bond with your children. Retention of knowledge is much higher
when you incorporate hands-on learning into your homeschooling. My
products will help you do just that. My articles prove that I know what
I'm talking about, so that you will have no doubt in your mind that you
will be fully satisfied with my products.
Of course, you will want to sign in on the right hand sidebar, because
then you will get super cool free stuff, and I will e-mail you once a
month with my new articles and whatever else I'm doing. So go ahead and
sign in, before you forget.

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.
ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
